One thing that seems to be missing in our world today is character. With politicians, superstars and CEOs seemingly having no moral character, we might say character is an endangered quality. Yet, people give evidence of strong moral character in different ways every day all across this great country of ours. A man who confronts his fear of talking in front of others so he can share during a Sunday morning Bible study how God has answered his prayers – I would call that courage! David says about himself, "So your servant has found courage…" (1 Chron. 17:25). Courage is needed in our church today.

Special Deliveries, a ministry of the LWML, provides a dinner to families following the birth of a baby. What a blessing that we can reach out to our young families in love and support as they celebrate their new family member.
If you can coordinate the dinners or if you are willing to be listed as one that can be called to prepare a part of the dinner, please call Linda Edwards, 234-5137 or 636- 9417.

This is the only earthly body you’re going to get. Are you using it wisely?
